When you get to your teenage years they do get hard! There are so many decisions to make – IMPORTANT DECISIONS. That can affect your whole life.

Perhaps you feel ‘peer- pressure’. Worried about your friends and what they will say about the things you do.

God calls all His children to follow Him. He doesn’t make exceptions for the teens.

Whenever you take a stand for Christ and do what is right – you shouldn’t worry about what your friends will think. If your friends mock you for taking a stand for Christ – I’d suggest they aren’t TRUE friends. TRUE friends will always want what is best for you – not what suits them. They will want you to do what is right and even if they don’t understand your actions or words they will not mock or laugh. TRUE friends respect your decisions, someone who mocks you, can be called an associate, but they are not TRUE friends. As you take your stand for Christ throughout your life, you will feel intimidated and pressurized by others. Don’t let anything put you off!

“It costs to follow Christ but it costs more not to!” I encourage you to follow Christ – No matter what.

Many youths have the privilege of having saved parents who give them advice on how to live life. If that’s true for you – it will do good to pay attention to their words. You can never go wrong when you obey the Bible!! If this isn’t your situation, then you have the opportunity to show your family the difference Christ can make in a life, by following Him.

Don’t feel intimidated by others. If you are saved you have a love, joy and peace that can only be found in Jesus Christ. You have the privilege to share the Gospel message with a lost and dying world.

Stand your ground for Christ! Honouring and obeying Him is the most important thing in your life.

“Let God have your life, He can do more with it than you can”

Life is full of hard times; the only way to keep your-self from falling is to stay close to the Saviour!
