A lot of Christians have church or a fellowship where some people take God seriously and some don't'. This of course can influence others of how they follow God. I've realized that we need to take our eyes of other people and what they say aboutus, and just look to the Lord, since He is perfect and loves us with an everlasting love!

To me, a relationship with Christ is the first and foremost thing in my life, above friends, work, activities etc... I used to think that the Christian life was a life to be lived on Sunday at church, but of course now I know that we need to follow God 100% whether we are in a big church or on a desert island alone. Nothing can compare to Jesus, since He died to prove His love, He really is the number one thing in my life!!

I know that He really wants to guide me through the short life down here and He will lead us about everything - jobs, husband, future and whatever. It's when we read the Bible and think about these things that we realize He wants us to depend on Him and He will guide us.

Of course I know that it may seem strange to you, that someone like me is writing these things. I have to be honest I didn't always think like this. But for some time now I have realized that God really does guide the Christian through this life if they will let Him - sadly some don't - but if we do as He asks us, confess our sins daily, turn away from sin and seek to do those things that please Him, then we are "walking in the light..." (1st John1:7)

Now don't be thinking I'm some 'goodie- good'person. You must be kidding!!! I'm just a forgiven sinner - like all the other Christians saved by grace. Just so thankful that I'm not going to hell now so I live my life for Christ trying to always honour him.Of course, some people think the Christian life is boring (like my cousin before she was saved - for some reason she used to think we just sat and prayed all day) - but the only reason that people think like this is because they haven't got the right teaching. The Christian life - is of course an abundant life - one to be enjoyed!

Someone once said "There is more Joy in Jesus in 24hours than there is in the world in 365 days". I have tried them both." How true this is.

If you just turn from your sin you can have a free conscience to live your life for Christ - having no guilt at all - really it is fantastic.
