The Uncooperative Tool Box.

The Carpenter was sad as his tool box fell out the floor. He couldn't understand why his tools were not getting the job done. The SAW, which was supposed to cut things, was only bringing division. The SCREWDRIVER appeared to be going round in circles and the PLANE took strips off everything that it touched. The AWL was boring; the SANDPAPER rubbed everyone up the wrong way. The RULER measured everything by its own standards and the HAMMER made such a noise that everyone ended up with a sore head. The carpenter continued, even though the tools were difficult to work with. By the time He left the building, there stood a most beautiful wooden pulpit, from which the gospel was preached and through which many souls were saved.

The moral of the story: we all have different jobs to do for Jesus. We all have faults and very often we find it hard to get along with one another - but in the hands of The Carpenter we CAN work together to make something beautiful.
